A lot of people were left scratching their heads after this years Nintendo E3 tree house when the popular series, Animal Crossing, was missing from the roster. This grew in concern because a lot of fans have been anticipating Nintendo's next mobile title that is supposed to be centered around the series itself. With no news on the switch or mobile platforms, many fans were disappointed but we finally have an idea why that decision was made. In an interview with Waypoint, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Amié answered those questions. In the interview, Reggie assures fans that the game will still launch this year. As for the Switch, there was no mention of it. It was also an odd move to not announce or mention any titles from indie developers but that could be due to the fact that the Switch launched just this spring and has a small catalog of titles to date.
