Today is the last day to get your hands on one of the special hat Pikachu. As a promotion for the new Pokemon film, Nintendo has been releasing one of the special Pikachu's perweek from the end of September through the end of August and the Alolan cap Pikachu will be the last of the distribution. You can receive it through mystery gift with the code Pikachu20.
Few shows have been as explosively popular as the Attack on Titan anime series and it looks like the long awaited third season has an official date. Sadly fans will have to wait until July of 2018 for the climactic anime to pick up where it left off after an exciting season 2. While some fans worry that Attack on Titan might not make it for a next summer release date, it is totally possible seeing as season 2 was lowered from the hefty season 1 25 episode count to just 12 for the second season. Either way, it looks like we will be getting some awesome Titan action much soon than before.
Sony promised some new reveals during their Paris Games week and it looks like they definitely lifted the veil on a very anticipated DLC. Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris was officially announced with a brand new trailer, teasing a mysterious and powerful guardian as well as some dangerous battles with the Vex on Mercury. The multiplayer first person shooter will debut December 5th and will be the first of several planned DLC. Take a look at the trailer below and get excited for more action. DC's Shazam film has finally cast it's lead actor and it is far from who anyone would have guessed. After months of speculation it turns out the former Chuck star Zachary Levi will lead the role against Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's Black Adam. Zachary Levi also starred in Disney's massively successful Tangled and has also appeared in Thor: The Dark World as Fandral and will be reprising the role in Thor: Ragnarok before making the leap to the next DC film. Zachary Levi has not had a large number of high profile roles but he has proven to be a great on screen and charismatic actor. It is also quite obvious that the Rock's choice in Armie Hammer will not be making the cut but we can only hope DC delivers with this film. The Shazam film is currently set for an April 5th, 2019 release date but of course that could change between now and then. Are you excited for this movie?

Assassins Creed will take players to Egypt for the first time for a new world and adventure. Super Mario Odyssey is a return to the Super Mario 64, equipped with an amazing soundtrack, modern environments, and a colorful world, Mario is giving gamer's that classic Nintendo fun. It has been quite sometime since we've had any updates on the first Metal Gear title post-Kojima and it easy to imagine that most people have forgotten the title altogether but it looks like the upcoming Konami title has an official release date. The title will be dropping February 20th or 2018 and is said to fill in the events between Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and Metal Gear Sold V: Phantom Pain. The game looks to departure from the original stealth formula, for a multiplayer zombie horror game and it is going to be really interesting to see just how the sales go. If you are not aware, Kojima's exit from Konami was extremely controversial and while Kojima has moved on towards his new project, his loyal fans may turn their back on the franchise after the highly publicized fallout. Only time will tell if Metal Gear Survive will sink or swim but until then, get yourself familiar with the gameplay. Are you excited for this 2018 title? After a few months delay Nintendo finally drew back the curtain on their next mobile title and it is seriously impressive. Animal Crossing Pocket Camp looks to combine all of the fun of the console and handheld titles into a neat smart phone game, allowing players to create furniture and interact with one another. You'll be traveling locations, encountering familiar faces, and plenty of more creating your dream town. Instead of a home, players will live in a camper which they can customize both the inside and out. You will also be allowed to build new items in your town as well. The official in game currency, known as Leaf Tickets, will be distributed by Tom Nook which can be won in game in a number of ways or purchase using real money. The game looks absolutely fantastic, my only question is how the movement will work on the screen but until then, take a look at the trailer and get excited for new Animal Crossing adventures when they arrive late this November.
update: I will post a link for the trailer soon as one becomes available It's been a long time coming. Nintendo has finally announced that they are ready to show off their next mobile game venture, this time in the form of the popular Animal Crossing franchise. The game which was scheduled for release earlier this year was pushed back to an unspecified release date but was promised to come before the end of the year. The game will also be the only announcement in tomorrows Nintendo Direct, which means that there will (or at least should) be no information on a possible Animal Crossing title on the Switch. The Animal Crossing Nintendo Direct is set to debut 8pm PST 11pm EST Tuesday 10/24.
Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will mark a huge and bittersweet moment for the Pokemon core titles. The news broke today that Gamefreak will be shifting focus on the Nintendo Switch for the core Pokemon titles moving forward and that the Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon would be the last two titles to land on the Nintendo 3DS. While this is big news, it will be interesting to see how future Nintendo handhelds will last without the staple franchise. This will also mark the first time a core Pokemon title landed on a console which will definitely mean a large graphics boost along with an array of new functions. We probably won't see the first Switch Pokemon title for the next few years but until then, it looks like we will be enjoying our very last 3DS adventure.
