Back in 2014, I felt that No Man's Sky was a gloriously ambitious, space exploration title, unlike anything we've experience to this point in gaming. Sadly, it's been marred by complaints over missing features that has now lead to an investigation from an advertising agency. According to Eurogamer, the ASA (advertising standards authority) has opened an investigation against the Valve and Hello Games title. Questions were raised around specific features shown and spoken about in past conferences and trailers for the recently released title. Several weeks ago, compilation videos like this surfaced on the net about game director Sean Murray showing features that never made it to the final game or were missing completely upon it's release. After the release of the game on August 9th, players quickly found out the game they got were missing features like the much talked about multiplayer, which would have allowed players to interact on the same planets. This then lead to a large number of returns which major retailers like Amazon, Sony, and Steam granted under specific conditions. It was recently revealed that the number per hours on steam has dropped from over 20 thousand players per hours to around 1 to 2 thousand (source depending). Which is awful news to come just on the heels of the announced investigation. Whether Murray and company lied intentionally or not, a good handful of features are in fact missing including some of the most complined about features compiled by Reddit user AzzerUK including 'flowing water,' and even 'large scale space combat.' Whether Hello Games and Valve will have to issue some major refunds is yet to be seen but it looks like No Man's Sky is in some serious trouble.

According to Variety, another famed DC hero is on his way to TV! Fox, along side Arrow, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow and the upcoming Archie comics based TV series, Riverdale (due out in 2017), Greg Berlanti, have apparently reached an commitment agreement for the pilot. While this doesn't guarantee that the series will make it to a full season order, it's hard to imagine that it doesn't have a fair chance with DC's comics dominating television right now. At this time, no is attached to the main role and we're probably a little while away from seeing any of those rumors start to swirl. Are you excited for another comic book series or is it becoming too much to handle?
![]() Sony has finally confirmed the rumored "slim," version of their current console, the PS4, but that wasn't the only surprise they had in store for us today during their press conference. The newly announced, PS4 Pro, was shown today as well, packing HDR and 4K resolution, promising a more sleek gaming experience. All former consoles will receive a free HDR upgrade but not all 4K compatible games will deliver the same resolution on the new slim model, which will replace the current line of PS4s on the shelves. Titles like Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and Shadow of Mordor will be able to make use of the 4K output as well as some highly anticipated future releases like Final Fantasy 15, Naughty Dog's Spider Man exclusive, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and Mass Effect: Andromeda. The press conference also gave us some amazing game play footage of Mass Effect with a promise of more to come on N7 day, November 7th, 2016. Oddly enough, tech news reporter for the BBC news, Chris Fox, confirmed with Sony that the 4K PS4 Pro won't be able to play 4K blue ray disc, it will instead support 4K streaming. The new, slimmer PS4 is expected to hit "most markets," September 15th for $299 and the PS4 Pro will be released November 10th, 2016 for $399 and is currently available for pre-order on Amazon.
