The summer is over and the box office seems to have gone out on a low note. With titles such as like Fox's Fantastic Four and American Ultra having weak box office performances, it wasn't too surprising that Zac Efron's latest, "We Are Your Friends," didn't do too well especially with the August smash hit, Straight Out of Compton (which pulled in only 13 million) but the numbers were worse than anyone thought. The 6 million dollar film managed to barely squeeze in 1.8 million over all, marking the lowest opening for a wide release in box office history. It did so poorly in fact that it actually didn't even make top ten for the weekly box office, which is a surprise considering the fact that Efron is not an unknown actor by any means. Summer has certainly adjusted in Hollywood but we can only hope that the array of comic book films next year will keep the ball rolling all the way into September. Did you make it to the theaters this weekend to see We Are Your Friends?
Final Fantasy 15 is still awhile away according to game director Hajime Tabata. The release date won't come until a special announcement event that will be held in March of 2016. This will also mark 10 full years since the official announcement of the title when it was Final Fantasy: Versus. Hopefully it's worth the wait but until then, it looks like we'll just have to hang on to the playable demo that came with Final Fantasy Type-O. Take a look at the promotional art for the event to be held next year.
A few days ago, comicbookmovie.com posted the promo art for next years Captain America: Civil War, and we were finally able to see the team line ups but there are some questions being raised. For starters, seeing Black Widow on Tony's side against, not only Capt., but Clint as well, is a bit of a surprise. We also see the addition of Black Panther but we know the relationship between Star Industries and the Wiccandan nation from Age of Ultron. Also, on Captain America's side, we see a very small Ant Man as well as Shanon Carter from The Winter Soldier. A few familiar faces that have been rumored to be involved are missing like the Hulk, Scarlet Witch and (maybe, but not likely) Thor. We've yet to see any official art of actor Tom Holland in Spiderman costume but we know he'll serve a pretty big role in the upcoming Marvel film. Phase 3 kicks off May 6th, 2016 and see more promo art below.

Tonight marks the end of one of Adult Swims longest running and strangest series to date, Aqua Teen Hunger force. The series that originally started as a spin off from Space Ghost Coast to Coast became one of Adult Swims first original series back in 2001. Spanning several iterations of series and even a motion picture, Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters, (which also led to a controversial marketing move in 2007 in Boston) the series has left a long lasting impact in the world of crazy, adult, cartoons. It's off brand humor and weird animation style quickly grew a cult following that lasted the entirety of it's 137 episodes up until earlier this summer when it was announced that Adult Swim had cancelled the program. We'll miss you and you're extremely weird brand of humor, Aqua Teen. For now, please listen to punk rock legend, Patti Smith's song created for the finale, Aqua Teen Dream, below.
