Coming just a few weeks from the announcement of the new Nintendo console comes some bad news for gamers. The next Legend of Zelda title is being reportedly pushed back to sometime next year. Which, given the news, isn't all that surprising. What does this mean for the Wii U and other big releases like the new Star Fox title has yet to be seen. To further the blow, we won't be seeing any new footage of the game at this years E3 press conference in June, so it looks like we're going to be waiting a little while longer than expected for the next title in this long running franchise.

We're just a few weeks shy of Avengers: Age of Ultrons big opening weekend and Marvel has some good news as to who will take the lead after Joss Whedon's departure. The directors come from what some argue is the best Marvel film to date, Captain America: Winter Soldier. Anthony and Joe Russo will be taking the helm on the franchise, directing both Avengers: Infinity Wars part 1 and 2 due out in 2016 and 2017. Rumor has it that the writing team behind the first two Captain America movies, as well as Thor: The Dark World and Agent Carter, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, might collaborate again with the Russo's for this big project. While it will be sad to say goodbye to Joss Whedon and the fantastic job he's done in the Marvel cinematic Universe, Marvel certainly picked one of the best teams out for the next Avengers films.

After announcing its plans to move into the smartphone games territory with Japanese mobile gaming company DeNA, President Satoru Iwata released a video announcing that Nintendo is working on a new "dedicated game system," with a membership that will include previously released titles from former Nintendo consoles like the current gen, Nitendo 3DS and Wii U. While we probably won't hear more from Nintendo regarding the "NX," until next year, we can certainly speculate on whats to come. Nintendo really used the 3DS as a sort of step between joining the popular handheld as well as their console Wii U and while it worked with some titles, the Wii U failed to gain traction of it's own, causing Nintendo a plethora of financial woes. While the release of big titles like last years Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros for the 3DS and Wii U, Nintendo sounds like they're serious about their commitment to gaming and don't plan on repeating the same mistakes. Nintendo has also been a company of innovation and paired with some of the most recognizable characters in gaming as well their massively successful handheld line and the new introduction of Amiibo's, I think it's safe to say we're all excited to see what they have coming next. Take a look at the announcement video below! Mortal Kombat is celebrating Friday the 13th by bringing in an iconic horror movie character as 1 of 4 members of the "Kombat Pack," that will be released with the newest Mortal Kombat X title. The Camp Crystal Lake killer will join the fighting the ever expanding MKX roster but with the good news comes some bad. It looks like owners of previous generation consoles will have to wait for a mid-summer release for the upcoming title. So if you dont own a PC, Xbox One or PS4 then you'll have to wait a little longer to get into the grime and grit of the fan favorite fighter. Mortal Kombat X is due out April 14th and you can take a look at the official reveal trailer below.
