A brand new trailer for Sony's Venom film debuted this morning and shows us more action and horror than the first two combined. The most interesting part of the trailer is we finally get a look at the other symbiote included in the film aside from Venom which is speculated as Riot. While many fans thought Carnage would be the villain to our anti-hero, there has yet to be any confirmation of that. This image shown in the trailer is reminiscent of this cover from Venom's Carnage Unleashed. Take a look at the trailer below and get ready for some r-rated comic horror when Venom releases 10/5/2018.

It's almost insane to think about the amount of comic book films we have coming in the next few months but Sony's horror flick is getting it's rightful debut this October. Take a look at the first official poster for Venom starring Tom Hardy and be ready for the first official trailer debut to hit the internet tomorrow.
Sony is definitely moving in some dark directions with the future of superhero films with the horror themed New Mutants and Venom film and now it sounds like one more famous villain from the spidey-verse is coming to the big screen. Morbius, which would be the third spin-off also including Silver & Black, would focus on the frightening vampire character from the long running comic series. Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama are allegedly behind the screen play and there no news of a cast. We are probably a few years away from this film but it will be nice to see Sony play around with some iconic Spiderman villains while the webslinger himself is housed under Marvel.
This weekend's Playstation expiernece has brought us a whole bag full of surprises and announcements. From the announced Last of Us Part 2, to some fantastic remasters and indie games, Sony really brought it this year. Below, you can check out some of the trailers shown but click here or Playstations official youtube page trailer for the rest of the announcements and trailers! E3 is a month away and we now know when Sony's press conference will be taking place. Sony has picked Monday, June 13th at 6pm PT for it's 2016 conference and rumors are already swirling about what we might see. The rumored PS4.5 has been circling the net for months now. While Sony has not made any hints towards it, the uncertainty of a PS5 as well as the rumor relayed from a French gaming distributor stating that a, "Playstation 4K Neo," could debut as early as September. An article from cheatsheet illustrates perfectly the pro's and con's of a mid-cycle upgrade. This wouldn't be super surprising considering the PS3 had 3 upgrades during it's run as Sony's console but the rumored increase speed and 4K video output might entice gamer's who have held off on picking up the latest console. Hopefully we'll hear more about the long awaited The Last Guardian, the Final Fantasy 7 remake, and Persona 5 as well as a handful of new surprises Sony will no doubt have in store. E3 will be streaming online beginning June 13th-16th.
Well this is a pleasant surprise! Rockstar Game's been fairly quiet about E3 plans but an early leak has many of us to believe that a very popular last gen title is getting a sequel due out next Fall. The western sandbox title, Red Dead Redemption, might be coming back for more with a brand new title, Red Dead Redemption 2: Legends of the West. First reported by Fraghero, the sites listed source is an ex-rockstar employee who went on to state that an HD remake of the 2010 title is also in the works. This rumor can be supported however, by CEO of gaming developer Take Two studios, Strauss Zelnick, regarding the future of the franchise and guarantee of a sequel sometime in the future. While we're still a few months away from June's E3 press conference, we'll just have to keep an eye out for more developments regarding this western sandbox title.
Bloodborne, the popular "spiritual successor" of the insanely hard Dark Souls series, is coming to games in an all new way with a table top card game. Revealed on twitter by designer, Eric Lang, describes his game as "risk management with a bit of groupthink," that promises plenty of death in a quick half hour game session. The goal of the game is centered around Bloodbornes chalice runs, where gamers are fight monsters and earn treasures while trying to survive. The "simple but highly deep and interactive card game," does not have a scheduled release date as of now but look forward to getting your hands on this table top game when it arrives in stores.
Well, that was fast. Following yesterday's news from Microsoft, Sony has now opened up about the idea of cross-platform play. In a statement released to Gamespot, they company talks about their continued support with cross-platform play like Final Fantasy 11 and went on to state that they “we would be happy to have the conversation with any publishers or developers who are interested in cross platform play." Bridging the cap between consoles could be a big deal for gamers but, doesn't come without a few bumps in the road. All in all, this could be exciting stuff for developers if they choose to explore these routes.
