Stop what you're doing because we finally got a full trailer for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3 and the game play looks amazing! (Note: It's still in development but get excited!) Check out the trailer below! Of the many, many, games that Sony brought with it this year for their E3 show, one of the biggest surprises of the night was the announcement of a remake of the 1997 gaming classic, Final Fantasy 7. The original, 3 disc epic, was released on the Play station 1 and has been a part of one of gamings biggest and most recognizable franchises. Watch the trailer and get goose bumps! Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, had a big presence at this years Tokyo Game Show and it did not disappoint. Series creator, Hideo Kojima, brought us a new look at a cut scene featuring the character above "Quiet," as well as Solid Snake, and 20 minutes of beautiful game play. The surprises didn't end there however, as the press conference moved on, we were shown a new white PS4 model with the Metal Gear Solid 5 logo on it and it was revealed that the teased, "Metal Gear Collection," is a clothing line, that offers both looks and items for men and women and features elements from the games as well as the logo. Lots of big news and surprises, take a look at the game play video and the PS4 below, I'll update this when I can get a better video of the cut scene or you can head here and watch it. The release date has also not been formally announced but the window is 2015 for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The game originally announced in 2012, Until Dawn, debuted a much more extensive look at it's game play at Gamescom this year and horror fans should start to get excited. The idea behind the game is simple, every decision matters and, as the official game motto put it, "anyone can live, anyone can die. Everyone can live, everyone can die." The premise, which sounds like your average Halloween weekend movie staring a string B-list actors, may have been run deep into the dirt in Hollywood but could offer an interesting and spine tingling experience on what's pretty familiar territory. Check out the new trailer below as well as some of the eerie and hauntingly beautiful game play footage here. Naughty Dogs successful survival-horror title, The Last of Us, was the second biggest selling title of 2013 as well as getting a remastered version for the PS4, has announced that it has plans for a feature length filmed and is in talks with a superb actress notable for her role as Arya Stark in HBO's Game of Thrones. One would imagine that Ellen Page would have gotten this role, considering the controversy that was stirred during the games release and whether or not Naughty Dog "ripped off," the actresses image. Regardless, this is great news and the film will be produced by Sam Raimi, creator of the previous Spider Man trilogy and the original Evil Dead as well as written by Naughty Dog creative director, Niel Druckman. Keep an eye for more news over the couse of Comic Con weekend!
Destiny's release date is fast approaching and while its benefits for the PS4 have quite a few gamers upset, this game is looking nothing short of incredible. Check out the new BETA trailer, when you can start playing it and make sure to get your hands on this Bungie title September 9th, 2014. Looks like we're making one more trip to the island before we see the sequel to Deep Silvers fantastic Dead Island. Serving as a detour, so to speak, title before we see the next game in 2015, Escape Dead Island, is another survival horror title that will have you playing as Cliff Calo, who's planned film documentary goes horribly awry. Check out the trailer below and read more about its official announcement on the Playstation blog. Escape Dead Island will hit the PC, Xbox 360 and Ps3 this fall. An apparent leak from Amazon France, which has a pretty strong history of revealing gaming news a little too early, (Grand Thef Auto 5 for PC, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, and so on) has revealed a PS4 bundle for the remastered and price dropped version of one of their best and highly acclaimed titles, 2013's The Last of Us. As noted, the game was not only the Kotaku and the Ign game of the year, but even won 10 awards at the DICE awards earlier this year. While the console is listed at 429 EUR on the French Amazon page, I'm going to say my best guess will be that this console bundle will set you back at least 450$ when it's available for pre-order. The Last of Us Remastered is slated to be released July 29th, 2014. Will you be picking it up?
Sony was ambitious quite ambitious when they announced that their future plans included not only releasing the sequel to Spider Man 3 and 4 but the Sinister Six and Venom but it looks like the lukewarm success of The Amazing Spider Man 2 might hold up their release schedule plans. According to a report from Ain't it cool news, The Amazing Spider Man 3 will be pushed back from an originally rumored July 2016 to an undetermined date in 2017. While Sony hasn't released a specific reason as to why this is the case, a lot of speculation is due largely to the fact that the Amazing Spider Man series has not been able to match or surpass the domestic growth of the previous Spider Man films directed by Sam Rami. The movie was far from a failure, raking in over half a billion in ticket sales with its early release over seas but it's still the lowest grossing Spider Man film to date. We'll just have to wait and see what this means for the rest of the films planned for the series and whether or not the other films will see a similar delay.
