This has not been the best week for gamers. Far Cry 4 launched just yesterday and it looks like the games suffering a slew of issues that are preventing players from even starting the game. PC gamers have been experiencing crashes from the games serves, resulting in a black screen. PS3 players, on the other hand, are receiving a message stating, "game data is corrupt. Please delete FC3 game data," and while that seems like a simple enough solution, apparently players who haven't played Far Cry 3 on the same console are seeing the same notification. There also seems to be some issues with a pre-order for the bonus mission, "Blood Ruby," over the validity of the redemption code's players received prior to the games release. Players have complained of either never receiving the codes or the codes themselves not working. There was also a bit of a mix up of players complaining about not having a FOV (filed of view) function to which one of the team members confirmed that the reason they do not is because they do not have a legal copy of the game. Not a good week for Ubisoft but hopefully there upcoming patch will fix a lot, if not all, of these issues.
