Believe it or not, the Superman v Dark Knight fight is promising a more hardcore version when it's released on home video later in the summer. According to the MPAA and director Zack Snyder, the added "sequences of violence" is really what pushed the MPAA ratings board to give he Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Unlimited edition, its R rating. Some details have been released as to what will be different in the version including some characters that won't be included in the theatrical version as well as some nods towards the forthcoming Justice League part 1 due out in 2017. My question is, will we end up with a cameo stuffed ending for the DC film featuring The Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman or will they make the Ultimate edition? (I have had a strong feeling that that might be the case or they would appear in an after credit sequence so we will see what happens when the film releases this Friday) You can read a bit more in detail about what to expect in the rated R version here but be warned, there are some spoilers included in the article.
