A lot of companies are releasing their annual reports and none seem to be in a worse off position than Sony currently is. Long time Sony CEO, Kaz Hirai, announced yesterday that he would be declining his annual bonuses as will as taking a 50% pay cut, along with other corporate executives, due to the company reporting a loss in profit for the fourth time in five years. While the main crutch Sony faces is struggling to create a splash in the television and handheld musical device markets, it's still holding fairly well in the console market, outselling both the Xbox One and Wii U. Hirai is not the first president of a video game company to announce that he, a long with is team, take a pay cut, Sony's projected sales for their PS4 are not meeting what was projected, leaving Sony to suffer a loss of up to 1.27 Billion dollar loss even after selling off their PC business earlier this year. This is bad news for a great company especially considering they had planned a 489 million profit from this past year.
