Rumor around the net is that the classic 80's character, Mega Man, will be getting his own film courtesy of Fox and Cherin Entertainment. Mega Man has been one of the most recognizable characters in gaming since his debut in 1987. While there's no official word on the report (courtesy of tracking board) let's keep our fingers crossed that if it ends up being true, it'll turn out better than the last video game based film. Stay tuned while this story develops.

While fans of the Mortal Kombat franchise will not be getting their hands on the franchises latest title for the older generation of consoles, those with the latest gen might be seeing a treat tomorrow. Creator Ed Boone tweeted a silhouetted image of four characters teasing some up coming DLC. He also headlined the image with "Tomorrow?" Hopefully we will see some new characters. Some have guessed that the second to the left might be Tekken's menacing villain, Heihachi. Hopefully we see the reveal at some point tomorrow. Get excited for more gore and mayhem!
Microsoft let loose the opening cinematic trailer for Octobers Halo 5: Guardians and it's exhilarating. The trailer introduces some of the main characters that are out hunting a familiar hero and fighting forces of the covenant. The trailer itself looks great and shows off some over the top action that hopefully gives us a glimpse of what 343 Studios has in stores for gamers. Halo 5: Guardians releases October 27th, 2015.
