DC has made it clear that they're not going with the light tones Marvel's Cinematic Universe has and this new trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, makes that pretty clear. We get to see some awesome Wonder Woman action and where Ben Affleck was the day that Superman fought fellow kryptonian, Zod, the destruction of which being our hero under questioning. We even get a hand written note with the words, "you let your family die," being held by Batman in some very recognizable style of one iconic villain we'll see more of in the future and our first real look at Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. Comic Con keeps rolling out the awesome movie props this year! Avengers: Age of Ultron, featured an end credit sequence of what appeared to be a CGI version of our heroes fighting his various robot minions and the big baddie himself but it turns out that we were all wrong. The end credits were filmed around an actual statue and it's at comic con! See the amazing footage below! Batman will be carrying some heavy artillery when he faces Superman in 2016's Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. During the show floor last night for SDCC 15, there was a lot to look at from the up coming film including a lot of awesome weapons and gadgets that Ben Affleck's Batman will be using and some of them are seriously awesome. Tonight is preview night for the largest nerd convention in the country, the San Diego Comic Con! The event that will run for through the weekend should come with quite a few surprises. We'll be seeing some new news from the Sherlock crew, Bryan Fuller will appear and speak about the Hannibal cancellation and future plans, we'll hear more about the Fear of the Walking Dead spin off, season's 2 and 3 and Agent Carter and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Simpsons will also appear with the returning voice of Mr Burns (Harry Shearer), A large Dc TV block including the new series Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl, and American Horror story and FOX's Scream Queens new as well. Get ready for an awesome week full of fun reveals and awesome cosplay!
As the date draws closer, we're slowly learning more and more about DC's upcoming film, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and it looks like things are going to get personal. (Spoiler alert) The end of the Man of Steel showed our Kryptonian hero killing Zod but not before he was able to wreak havoc on the city they fought in and Dawn of Justice focuses on the ramifications of these actions, as well as casualties. Apparently, one of the building destroyed was under Wayne enterprise and Batman (or rather, Bruce Wayne,) knew people inside of the buildings that was destroyed in the mayhem. Director Zack Snyder spoke to Entertainment weekly about the Dark Knights motives and the "consequence of violence," even referencing his 2009 graphic novel adaptation, Watchmen. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be released March 25th, 2016. Get ready for a dark comic book movie.
The universes deadliest hunter is making his Mortal Kombat X debut tomorrow for the owners of the Kombat Pack DLC and there's one brutal trailer to accompany the ocassion. For players who didn't purchase the DLC pack, they'll be able to purchase Predator as a standalone character July 14th. Take a look at some sick moves and some brutal finishers. Today's the day we've all been waiting for! After the exciting announcement was made that the Dragon Ball series would be returning with it's original creator behind it, anime fans collectively lost their minds. This series takes place after the events from the Majin Buu saga and the most recent film, Battle of the Gods. The opening credits featured Beerus along side some new characters we've yet to learn about. Good news! The latest Digimon game has finally gotten it's U.S. release date but it's a little bit of a wait. Digimon: Cyber Sleuth, was originally released for the PS4 network and PS Vita March 12th, of this year, but it's finally been given it's international release date. This is also part of the Digimon 15 year anniversary, which is also being celebrated by a 6 part television film series with the first film titled, "Reunion," due out this November. Take a look at the new trailer for the game and get excited to jump back into the digital world! If you missed this award winning RPG by Bethesda back in 2008, you can now get your hands on a free copy but there's a catch. Todd Howard stated that Fallout 4, the upcoming post-apocalyptic title due out in November, was set to launch with an Xbox One version of Fallout 3 as well but it looks like you can get it now but only if you pre-order the title. There also appears to be a short wait period of about 7-10 business days after which you'll receive a download code from Xbox.com. At this time, you can only take advantage of this offer from the Xbox store purchase page. Unfortunately it looks like we'll still have to wait to play Fallout 3 on the Xbox one when the list of backwards compatible titles increases this holiday season. Nintendo is getting ready to release it's next wave of Amiibo figurines and it looks like one of the best characters from their latest Super Smash Bro's release is coming to a store near you. It was announced today that the Dark Pitt Amiibo will be released July 31st only through the electronics retailer, Best Buy. The figure is also not available to pre-order if you're well versed in Amiibo's, you know that supplies won't last long. make sure to get your hands on this awesome figure and be on the look out for the next wave of figures featuring some popular Animal Crossing characters, Ganondorf, Bowser Jr and plenty others, to hit store shelves later this fall!
