For most triple AAA titles, I try my hardest to get my hands on a copy but Elder Scroll V: Skyrim was sadly not one of them. Completely missing the train, I've felt like the only gamer for years who hasn't played this extremely popular RPG from Fallout developer, Bethesda until now. During Bethesda's showcase tonight, a short video revealed not only brand new Fallout 4 DLC, but the inclusion of the news thar Skyrim would be re-released later this fall with upgraded visuals and Mod's available to console players. Ahead of tomorrows press conference, images of leaked of a slimmer Xbox One console. Unlike the first, the new one features an all white casing and controller, only available to limited editions of the Xbox One. Rumors have been circulating for the past few weeks of a mid-cycle upgrade for the Microsoft console which is rumored to be more powerful than the PS4. We'll see more about it tomorrow and Sony might have up their own sleeves when E3 really kicks off. (Photos first reported by Neogaf)
After a ten year journey, it looks like we're getting a new Prey game after all. The original title was released back in 2006 with a planned sequel first announced at E3 2011. The re-titled, "Prey," will serve as a reboot of the original title that will be released for consoles and PC's in 2017. As Morgan Yu, you'll find yourself waking up in a space station, resisting an alien force and figuring out what secrets are hiding within the Talos 1. Titanfall was one of the most anticipated titles around the launch of Xbox One but it was heavily criticized for it's lack of a single player campaign but it looks like they're looking to correct their mistakes. Titanfall 2 won't hit store shelves until October 28th, 2016 but you can take a look at the official trailer for the campaign mode for the sequel below. E3 2016 is officially upon us! Out of the boat load of news developer E3 brought us with their EA play event today, one of the biggest surprises was definitely a new look at Mass Effect: Andromeda. Giving us a bit more background into the new world we'll be exploring as well as some gorgeous cinematic and concept art. The latest in the massively popular RPG series looks like it'll carry the legacy on well. Take a look at the footage below! The leaks are coming! Ahead of Bungie's big reveal for the latest Destiny expansion set for tomorrow, Destiny: Rise of Iron has been leaked, release date and all! As per usual, we won't get our hands on the latest expansion until September but, it's interestingly enough only listed for the latest gen consoles. A leak on the xbox store, (courtesy of this tweet), Rise of Iron will feature a new raid, extend the level cap, and new weapons and armor like the previous expansions. Gamers will take the fight to the wall of Old Russia alongside Lord Saladin who runs the iron banner, to stop a mutant threat. Bungie is still apparently planning on releasing a full sequel to Destiny in 2017 so this might be the last expansion we see for the original title. Look for more tomorrow when Bungie unveils the full look at the new expansion!
Get ready to rumble. After a lot of speculation, Injustice 2 has finally been announced. The sequel to the 2013 title features some familiar DC heroes laying into each other in some seriously cool gear. Take a look and get excited as we'll see more of this title next week at E3. If there's one thing I'm a fan of, it's collectibles and the highly anticipated release date for Personal 5 as well as it's collection edition has finally been revealed. The title, coming from Atlus studios, will be offering a "Take your heart," collection, with a ton of goodies. For $89.99, gamer's will get the game in a steel case book as well as the official soundtrack, a hardcover book, collectors box, school bag, and an adorable 4 inch Morgana plush. The game will also be available for both the Ps4 and PS3 for $59.99 and $49.99 respectively. Persona 5 will release in North American February 14th, 2017. Get excited for the latest title and make sure to keep an eye out next week when we see more of the title at this years E3. Legendary game designer and the mind behind Metal Gear Solid, Hideo Kojima, has been teasing gamer's for months about what's for head with his with new company and secretive logo but now he's given us a much more detailed look at the character. Ludens, the name of the helmet and and skull design pictured next to "Kojima Productions," appears to be a character in a high tech suit adjusting a light on the left side of his head. You can also see the detail in the face mask as well as a small microphone on the right side with the message, "I'll keep coming," down towards the right corner. Last month, Hideo Kojima tweeted the first of three images of Ludens in whats titled the "extra-vehicular activity," suit. Hopefully Ludens is part of a larger project to come when Kojima releases his own studios project for the PC and PS4 sometime in the future. Until then, we'll just have to keep up with the cryptic reveals and soak in the awesome art!
One of the best Final Fantasy titles in recent years is getting the remake treatment next year with a new title along with it. Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age, will be a HD remake to the 2006 title that was released with critical acclaim. The game was praised for its game play mechanics and beautiful world. The title will feature auto save functionality, English and Japanese voices, and a sleek HD remake for all the characters and background.
