When I was younger, a good portion of my early gaming years were defined by one crazy, Naughty dog platformer, Crash Bandicoot. You see, I didn't have the Nintendo consoles of yesteryear, (thank my neighbors a mere 30 seconds did) so the hours most people dumped into Super Mario 64 and other great titles, I spent endlessly chasing the evil mastermind Dr. Neo Cortex. I even picked up the kart racing title, Crash Team Racing, which is an incredibly fun title but I don't expect a lot of people to know that title. When I was growing up, I came to love Naughty Dog, as a quirky company with heroes who may not have have been the most popular, but were still just as good. I was absolutely obsessed with Crash and the gang, and the Jak and Daxter titles only got more and more entertaining as years progressed. Of course, there's simply no need to talk about the massive impact and success the Uncharted franchise (heading towards its 4 installment), along with the Last of Us, have had in recent years. To say that Naughty Dog is a company I not only love, but respect, is a bit of an understatement. The Naughty Dog Art-book, published by Darkhorse, will be available in 2 weeks on October 14th. I'm sure a good chunk will be dedicated to the newer titles but I hope I'll get a lot of Crash Bandicoot nostalgia. Click here to pre-order.
