There is no doubt that Channing Tatum had a monumental year in 2013. Having had big and small roles in This is the End, Side Effects, G.I. Joe: Retaliation, and White House Down, he was basically everywhere and with 2013's Fox Catcher, 22 Jump Street and Jupiter Ascending, there's a lot more of him to come and it looks like he'll also be filling a popular comic book characters shoes soon. After some back and forth between Producer Lauren Shuler Donner and then actor, it has been confirmed that Channing Tatum will be playing Gambit, formerly played by Taylor Kitsch in X Men: Origins Wolverine. While it hasn't been detailed when exactly this will happen, be it in Age of Apocalypse or a spin of solo film, we know there has been talk of an X Force film as well as a solo Dead pool movie in the future. Certainly interesting news and only time will tell where Channing will end up.
