Various sources are reporting this morning that current James Bond actor, Daniel Craig, might not return to the role after last years extremely successful Spectre. If you've followed the long development of the 24th Bond film, you'll know that Daniel Craig did not have the best time filming this role. Between budget and production woes to expressing his distaste over the senseless sexism, it was pretty much inevitable that this would end up happening. He even found himself in the hot seat last year after commenting that he'd rather harm himself than return to the role. Craig is allegedly walking away from a massive deal with MGM with would have included shares and a co-producer position for two more films, yielding a pay day of £68m. Speculation for a replacement have been circulating for some time with recent names like newcomer from the highly successful Kingsman: The Secret Service, Taron Egerton, to High Rise and more recently BBC's The Night Manager, Tom Hiddleston, only time will tell what will happen next for the decade old franchise.

Check out the time traveling action that will allow you to change outcomes that you "wished were different," below and get ready for Dragon Ball XenoVerse 2: Fly Through Time to be release on PS4, Xbox One and Microsoft Window's later this year. A mysterious countdown clock on a Toei and Bandi Namco teaser site appeared yesterday causing Dragon Ball Z fans to scratch their heads as to just what that might mean. With images floating in the background from various Dragon Ball Z films like Broly: Second Coming, Sleeping Princess in Devil's Castle, Dead Zone, as well as other promotional images, a lot of us are lead to believe that we might hear the announcement of a new Dragon Ball Z film. There is also the rumor going around that it could be the sequel to the popular original game, Dragon Ball: Xenoverse, released last February. E3 is a month away and we now know when Sony's press conference will be taking place. Sony has picked Monday, June 13th at 6pm PT for it's 2016 conference and rumors are already swirling about what we might see. The rumored PS4.5 has been circling the net for months now. While Sony has not made any hints towards it, the uncertainty of a PS5 as well as the rumor relayed from a French gaming distributor stating that a, "Playstation 4K Neo," could debut as early as September. An article from cheatsheet illustrates perfectly the pro's and con's of a mid-cycle upgrade. This wouldn't be super surprising considering the PS3 had 3 upgrades during it's run as Sony's console but the rumored increase speed and 4K video output might entice gamer's who have held off on picking up the latest console. Hopefully we'll hear more about the long awaited The Last Guardian, the Final Fantasy 7 remake, and Persona 5 as well as a handful of new surprises Sony will no doubt have in store. E3 will be streaming online beginning June 13th-16th.
Fans have spoken! In the new releases for the big fighting titles, one has surprisingly taken over another with a long history and fan base behind it. Even though the PS4 is dominating the market in console sales, Nintendo's Pokken Tournament has sold more copies on the Wii U console than Capcom's Street Fighter 5. This is impressive considering how far behind in sales the Wii U console is behind PS4 and the fact that the fifth Street Fighter is also available on the PC. Pokken Tournament has sold an impressive 680 thousand copies while Street Fighter 5 sold 670 thousand over both system and PC. Make sure you get your hands on this extremely popular fighting title while we wait for Pokemon Sun and Moon's release in November. It's the dreaded time of the year when the long list of cancellations come from various television networks and just like every year, we're losing some good shows. ABC's country drama "Nashville," was cancelled alongside thriller series "The Family," the struggling Muppets series, the comedic and well received "Galavant," and our favorite female agent, "Marvel's Agent Carter," have all been officially shelved. Even worse news for Marvel, ABC's ordered spin off for the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. series, Marvel's Most Wanted, will not be moving forward on the network. CBS cancelled the latest iteration of crime-mystery series, "CSI:Cyber," and moved it's freshmen series "Supergirl" to the CW in a move which will most likely save the show in the long run. While we wait on more series from NBC, based on ratings it sounds like the new shows, "Game of Silence," Eva Longoria's "Telenovela," and "Undateable," are all in trouble of cancellation. Fox cancelled a handful of new series including Rob Lowe's, "The Grinder," the John Stamos led comedy, "Grandfathered," "Cooper Barret's Guide to Life," "Minority Report," and the sci fi series, "Second Chance." The network also cancelled Seth Macfarlane's new animated series "Bordertown." This isn't terribly surprising as it seems Fox is moving away from animated series after cancelling Macfarlane's other series, "The Cleveland Show," and moving the long running "American Dad," series to TBS where it's performed considerably better. The CW cancelled competition series "America's Next Top model," towards the end of last year and has already cancelled the limited series, "Containment," which has yet to finish airing it's first season. While some of these show's had a good run, others were gone far too soon. What will you miss on TV from the last year?
Supergirl have been given another chance. After several weeks of waiting, the news was announced today that Supergirl would be returning for a season 2 but not on CBS, instead the series is moving to the CW. The CW' known for it's other comic hits including The Flash, Arrow, and the previous Smallville, is probably the right move for this new-comer series but the reason why has more to do with the budget of the show. The pilot was said to cost a whopping 14 million dollars for CBS just to film with each additional episode costing around 3 million dollars to produce. While 3 million an episode is half of say, HBO's monster hit Game of Throne's, with a full season order of 20 episodes and steadily declining ratings, it was hard to imagine that Supergirl was going to land safely in renewal zone by the time it's season concluded. The move to the CW is most certainly to shrink the budget for the series going forward. While early reactions have fans upset over the news, Arrow and The Flash have continued to do well on estimate budgets of 1 and 1/2 to 2 million per episode. Are you happy that Supergirl's getting it's second chance or would you rather have said goodbye to Kara and company?
After a lot of waiting, the other big video game to screen film trailer has finally arrived. During last nights Jimmy Kimmel, the comedian and host revealed (or was delivered) the official first trailer for the upcoming film starring X Men's Michael Fassbender. The story follows as Callum Lynch, a descendant of Aguilar de Nehra, who's learning about his ways as an assassin following the news that he's been pronounced dead. The movie also stars Inception actress Marion Cotillard and Jeremy Irons. Dive into the world of assassins with Assasin's Creed and be on the lookout when this film hits theaters December 21st, 2016. There's nothing that I love more than a good deal and this one's really hard to beat! Nintendo's 2DS handheld is dropping down to an extremely low price of $79.99. The lowered 2DS will also come with Mario Kart 7 pre-loaded onto the console. This comes just after last years announcement that the handheld would be lowered to just $100 dollars. Considering Nintendo dominates this corner of the gaming market, it's completely worth it for gamer's who want a more comfortable device without the 3D. The 2DS will hit store shelves at it's discounted low price of $79 beginning May 20th.
